Welcome Email - 4.9.2021

Welcome Back soccer players and parents!

Parents – We hope this email finds you well!  We hope you and your player(s) are looking forward to Jr. Spring Recreation Soccer!  Our first session will be Saturday, April 10.  Complete session and schedule information for the 6 week program is below.

Please note that an additional COED session was added at 8:30am to accommodate players who were on the wait list.  An email was sent to this group earlier this week.  For those players, if you have not done so already, please log back into your MLBTB SC account and complete/pay the registration fee prior to Saturday.

The goal of MLBTB SC is to offer a recreation program to players, trainers, and volunteers with the health and safety for all involved as a top priority.  Members of our club are returning from their respective spring breaks and compliance with all COVID pre-screening, social distancing and mask wearing is expected.

Please read through the program details below.  As all leagues and clubs, MLBTB SC, must follow specific guidelines put forth by our governing bodies, the State and local municipalities pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We expect all families and players that participate in the Spring program to follow and adhere to such guidelines.

  • Groups will be trained by our Soccer Alliance trainers
  • Groups will be created on the field each session and each week, based on who shows up to play

COVID-19 Pre-Screen:

  • All players must complete a pre-participation screening questionnaire prior to attending any MLBTB SC related activity.  This is an online questionnaire via TypeForm .  Parents must complete this prior to visiting the fields.
  • If you arrive late and the session has already begun, you must still complete this task. You must walk your child to the field to show the GO Screen.  If not completed the coach will stop practice to call you to come get your child or show the go screen.  It is necessary to be strict and check this for the safety of all.
  • Parents/Players will need to present a GREEN GO SCREEN to show clearance to participate when they arrive at the field.  If a player does not present a GREEN GO SCREEN or has a STOP RED SCREEN, they will not be allowed to participate.  The questionnaire takes 1-2 minutes to complete and can be done on any device.
  • Not all players are going to have a cell phone to show the GREEN GO SCREEN. Therefore, in addition to showing the screen to the trainer on a cell phone, a picture/print screen can be taken and can be printed out and shown to the trainer or coach at the beginning of each session.
  • The GO SCREEN is date and time stamped.  Players must present the GO SCREEN each day he/she participates in a session.
  • The link can be found here:
  • Or in the COVID-19 Protocols - Recreation Player Only - COVID-19 GO SCREEN section of our web site.

  • One parent must remain with the player for the duration of the session, this is not a ‘drop-off’ program
  • All parents must maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet and follow social distancing guidelines when on the field
  • Parents must remain at least 6 feet off the field/sideline
  • If a player does not want to participate in any portion of a session, the player must leave the field and will not be permitted to return to the session
  • Parents will be required to follow NJ DOH, CDC and NJ Youth Soccer COVID-19 guidelines prior to attending any session. Please visit MLBTB SC COVID guidelines for more information.
