As we are still dealing with the ever-changing world around us and as a result of the postponement and cancellation of sporting events in response to COVID-19, MLBTB SC has implemented a specific refund policy to address uncertainty in relation to fees for the Spring 2022 and Fall 2022 sessions.
Many of the fees required by NJ Youth Soccer and MCYSA are paid up front by MLBTB SC upon player, team and coach registration. These fees and are not tied to or prorated by a season. Unless these fees are refunded to MLBTB SC, these fees, unfortunately, cannot be refunded. Please note that the refund information below is in addition to our normal refund policy.
If the Spring 2022 and/or Fall 2022 session is unable to take place as a result of continued measures to address COVID-19, MLBTB will refund fees as described below:
No Fall or Spring Season, which means that the season was canceled before it was scheduled to start, and no training sessions occurred:
- Travel Program: MLBTB SC will keep $35 for administration/credit card fees incurred and NJ Youth Soccer Registration
- Recreation Program: MLBTB SC will keep $15 for administrative/credit card fees incurred and NJ Youth Soccer Registration
Partial Season is played and/or training sessions occurred:
If a partial season is played and money is spent by MLBTB SC, the registration fee will be looked at and adjusted corresponding to the money spent. Refunds will be in the form of credits for future programs with MLBTB SC.
Player decided not to play after he/she accepted a spot on the team:
- Player must email [email protected] prior to August 1 (for Fall season) and/or prior to March 1 (for Spring season) for refund consideration (please note that approved refunds will not be issued until after the end of the Fall and/or Spring season.
- Travel Program: MLBTB SC will keep $35 for administration/credit card fees incurred and NJ Youth Soccer Registration
- Recreation Program: MLBTB SC will follow the current refund policy
- No refunds, partial or full, will be made to players who choose to not participate at any point after the season has started, this applies to both the recreation and travel programs
