How old must you be in
order to referee?
You must be in at least the
seventh grade
for the Fall soccer season.
When are the games?

the Fall.
What will I be responsible
for?
We pride ourselves on having very
responsible referees. You will be expected to be able to keep a
soccer game (coaches, players, and spectators) under control while
enforcing the laws of the game and
allowing the players to have fun.
How much will I be paid?
A first year referee will be paid $12 per
game. Returning referees will be paid $2 more than they where the
previous year. For example a second year referee would be paid $14, a
third year is paid $16, and so on, however, once the fee reaches $20 it
will no longer increase.
What age groups will I
"Ref"?
First year referees will only be assigned
to referee Division 6, however, after their first month they may be
called to substitute for a Division 5 game. If a referee is
certified, however, and it is their fist year as a MLBTB SC referee,
they may be assigned to the older divisions.
